Design for the final exhibition of two academic courses focused on chairs, developed within the Departments of Industrial Design and Jewelry Design at Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art.
The exhibition identity is based on a typographic logo system in which the letterforms are constructed from fundamental chair components. Using basic, geometric forms, the typography becomes both object and language. This approach reflects a core design inquiry shared by the courses: what makes a chair a chair?
Through abstraction and reduction, the visual system echoes a foundational design discourse, positioning the chair not only as a functional object, but as a conceptual structure built from essential parts and relationships.
