Almacén gallery and cultural space was established during the summer of 2016 in the Old Jaffa district, Tel Aviv. The name, Almacén, comes from the Arab word ‘almachsan’ (المخزن), meaning a storage space, hence the Hebrew word ‘Machsan’. The gallery works with individual artists on a wide range of programs including solo and group exhibitions as well as facilitating broader curatorial projects worldwide.
